Stunning! Had the best climbs to the highest point I have ever had in the UK. Started at 3000ft, but ran straight into a thermal up to 4400. Turned back and re-started. Blue to the first turn point, but as I started late I had plenty of people marking climbs for me so just cruised across big holes straight into the thermals. After the first turn I climbed high enough to get to the cu in a convergence zone. Then it went nuts. Had several climbs to 5500ft, but had to leave due to airspace above. cruising at 80-90knts, pulling up and making 4-500 ft then pushing on. Ran into one climb that averaged 9.5knts. Incredible! last leg was 100km, and I climbed to 6500ft onto final glide 80km out. Came back at about 100knts all the way. Averaged 105kph. Left me in one hell of a good mood for the party!
